Guests of the Week: Kate and Lance

Meet the Hoseys! Lance and Kate are near and dear to our hearts. We don’t get to see them as often as we’d like (they live in Washington, D.C. and Lance, an architect and author, travels a bit for work) but we do get to tempt them to visit Charlottesville now and again.

The Hoseys’ romance has inspired Seth and Marijean in many ways, but especially with the Hosey Switcheroo (the practice of ordering two different meals, then switching plates halfway through).

Marijean is half-convinced that she and Kate are distantly related (ancestors share the same last name!).

It’s a little-known fact that while Kate and Lance were celebrating their wedding, Seth and Marijean were cooking up their own blooming romance. Now, all these years later, it’s a treat to have them celebrating with us.
